Holmes comes to Hamburg! Inspector Lestrade receives a request for help on a mysterious series of murders at an exclusive Anglo-German members’ club and, given his limited cranial capacity, it is only logical that he should ask Holmes to assist. So the master detective suggests to Watson and Mrs Hudson that they decamp to Hamburg for a while. Here, they are confronted with the customs and morals of St Pauli and encounter a curious array of characters, including a club vice-president interested in contacting the dead.

With the help of a mysterious lady detective and despite Dr Watson’s more willing than able assistance, will their combined abilities be sufficient to crack the case? And what role if any will Mrs Hudson’s baking skills play this time?
